When I started working, I was surprised how I still feel a drive in a completely different place from what I had. I would try to work my chest with a bench press and it feels almost exclusively in my shoulders. Or I'd feel leg lifts done for my abs on my legs and not my abs.

I found it very discouraging. I was convinced that this is all training books, personal trainer and all the Internet played a sort of joke on me or something was really wrong with my body. Until I discovered something that would completely change how I approached work ...

Why You Need to Know About Mind Muscle Connection ...

The connection is probably the mind muscle concept most neglected and important today to fitness. The idea behind this is that your mind and your body is bound, and the only way to properly stimulate muscle group is to use your mind to that target. If you are not concentrating on flexing the muscle group you're trying to target while completing a year - so there are good chances that you will allow other muscles more than offset in the exercise and you'll much less out of it.

That's what happened to me when I started working on, and it's incredibly common for beginners who are not aware of what to merge at the beginning when it comes to certain exercises. If you have a bunch of weak muscles and you have not done a good mental connection with him. And then you go and try to target it with some exercise - even if you have a perfect shape, it is very likely that other muscles take over in the year. Which is something you do not want.

How to build the mind-muscle connection

To build a good connection between the mind muscle - you have to do isometric exercises that target specific muscle group, you try to improve. For example, to start feeling the chest muscle to increase your elbows and push your hands against each other while trying to flex your chest. For your abs, make a board while feeling your abdominals.

Use your mind to strengthen your body ...

There are many tricks you can use to help strengthen your body and activate your muscles at the facility. For example, imagine that you are trying to reach the land where the rower to take or a crook, or do sprints are good ways to motivate yourself to work harder. Sometimes a little imagination is all that we owe it to ourselves to give this extra boost.
